House of Snouts is a sous-vide petfood company, based in NCR, India. The meals are ready-to-eat and are made with human grade whole foods suitable for dogs and cats. The food is fresh and packed with high amounts of protein. There are no added by-products, animal feed meal, preservatives and/or additives in our food. As per the vet approved guidelines, the nutrients present in the ingredients are retained as much as possible for a high value, highly nutritious meal.

I have loved dogs since I was a kid. My house in Shillong has always had dogs living in it. This did not change when I moved to Delhi. It was in Delhi that Toopie, our dog of eight years, came into our lives. He had a ton of health problems though, if anyone were to look at him now, one would never have guessed. He is a brave and playful dog, our Toopie. It was through taking care of his nutritional needs that I decided to make food for other dogs with the help of a canine nutritionist and vets. I started House of Snouts to produce hypoallergenic food for canines without compromising on either the health for our furry friends or the taste of what they eat. Our food is made with utmost love and care for our furry companions. And the proof of our commitment?… The pets love it!

Abhisek Sharma Roy isn’t your typical entrepreneur. Driven by a deep love for animals and a relentless pursuit of something better, he co-founded House of Snouts with a mission to change the way we nourish our pets—because they deserve more than just “good enough.”

His journey to pet food was anything but linear. Before launching his own brand, he built a reputation through a series of business ventures, each one sharpening his instincts and deepening his understanding of what it means to build something that lasts. From gritty startups to bold market pivots, he’s seen the highs, the lows, and the lessons in between. That experience shaped him into a realist—one who sees the world clearly, acts with intention, and doesn’t flinch at the messy middle of entrepreneurship.

But what sets him apart isn’t just ambition or hustle—it’s the quiet conviction that doing things differently is often the only way to do them right. Whether it’s obsessing over ingredients, questioning industry standards, or spending hours with pet parents and their furry companions, he brings a hands-on, heart-first approach to everything he does.

Let me introduce you to the inspiration behind The House of Snouts – lovable boy named Hendrix.

This boy had an extremely traumatic first eight months of his life. He was rescued at this juncture but was shunted through adoptive homes before being returned to his original foster mom, Lanette. While fostering him, Lanette found that in spite of his anxious and frightened behaviour, this pup had a friendly, loving nature. She became attached to him and decided to adopt him herself.
Hendrix was a very hyperactive pup with a voracious appetite. He soon became a big, heavy and energetic dog and would gobble up anything put in front of him.
Hendrix had swallowed many of his toys, so frequent visits to the vet became necessary. Because of this rapacious tendency, Hendrix, nicknamed Toopie, developed allergic symptoms such as digestive ailments and skin sensitivities. Lanette has had to specially customise his food to help alleviate his symptoms. Her experiments to improve Toopie’s health through diet, over the past eight years, led her to realise that she can extend this care to many other pets out there.
This has given birth to HoS. This pet food is vet approved and scientifically prepared to preserve the nutrients and flavour of the meats, seafood, fruits and vegetables used. Hendrix is the living example of the benefits of the products by House of Snouts.
